This 60,000 sq.ft., 3-level corporate headquarters was the first new construction in the historic district in more than 10 years. The headquarters was awarded LEED Silver Certification by the U.S. Green Building Council. The building was designed with a pair of VAV water-cooled vertical self-contained units, one serving the west half of the building and one serving the east half. They were supplied with condenser water from two roof-mounted low-profile centrifugal forced-draft cooling towers on a variable flow loop. Each self-contained unit supplied a medium pressure duct distribution system to variable volume fan-powered boxes with electric heat.
