This 30,000 sf., single-story public library is served by a pair of 50-ton Trane Intellipak variable-volume air-cooled DX rooftop units. Each rooftop unit serves a medium-pressure duct distribution system supplying parallel flow fan powered boxes with electric heat. The North wall of the main reading room area has a 30’-0” tall storefront window. This perimeter zone is cooled by sidewall diffusers from an adjacent soffit 20’-0” away. The heating is provided by electric baseboard heaters built into an architectural enclosure.
