Herman Blum had a driving ambition to create a consulting firm dedicated to quality engineering.  In October of 1945 he did just that and set out to build “the world’s best engineering firm.”  Blum Consulting Engineers, Inc. is continuing with Mr. Blum’s ambition and goals by serving our clients with the highest quality engineering in today’s market.

Blum Consulting Engineers, Inc. continues to encourage and advance “green” building design.  BCE has designed several high-efficiency MEP systems in order to minimize a building’s impact on the environment through reduced energy consumption.  BCE has experience with the US Green Building Council’s (USGBC) Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Rating Systems, and has LEED Accredited Professionals on staff.  BCE has been involved in many projects pursuing LEED certification and is committed to sustainable design.
