JB graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oklahoma State University with honors. He developed his love of design and construction through his time as a homecoming director at OSU (shoutout to America’s Greatest Homecoming), and immediately began to apply that passion to a plethora of jaw-dropping buildings with his employment at Blum post-graduation. He is committed to continuing the long history of success at Blum and providing its clients and team members with top-tier engineering knowledge and project management. JB has worked on a variety of commercial buildings across the nation including hotel resorts, high rise residential, office towers, restaurants/kitchens, tenant finish outs and more.

In his free time, JB enjoys building custom furniture utilizing his semi-pro wood and metal working skills. He’s a proud dog dad to three (Macy, Murphy, and Brodie), an avid music lover, and will jump at any opportunity to get out of the house and into the outdoors.
